Dual camera to launch in India

The company has already started sending out press invites for the event and the company’s top official – Manu Kumar Jain, has also confirmed the launch.

As per the specs, the Mi 5X will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD LTPS display. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC, coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 4 GB RAM. The smartphone will come in two ROM variants – 32 GB and 64 GB, and its external memory is expandable up to 128 GB.

The Xiaomi Mi 5X is the first Xiaomi smartphone with a dual camera to launch in India. It packs dual 12 MP sensors with dual-LED flash, and a 5 MP front camera. The handset is backed by a 3080 mAh non-removable battery, and runs on Android v7.1.1 Nougat-based MIUI 9.
